Thrissur sits almost exactly between Kochi and Calicut, which makes it unusual: students here can realistically interview at either international airport without moving city.
It is also a student town. Thrissur has one of the densest concentrations of colleges in Kerala, and the competition for a visible, well-paid career after Plus Two is correspondingly fierce.
